MAD DECENT HITMAKER RETURNS TO BIG D TO CAP SUMMER SERIES
From his initial performance in Dallas at Suite in 2007, to sharing the stage with Cee-Lo at Rio Room during Super Bowl weekend 2011, to a more recent cameo at Dirk Nowitzki's birthday celebration, Diplo is no stranger to the metroplex. Rio Room welcomes him back this Thursday for what is sure to be another unforgettable performance. The production mastermind behind MIA's ascendancy to pop superstardom has churned out hits for Santigold, Lilʼ Jon and Missy Elliot, while remixing works by Beck, Radiohead, Britney Spears and countless others. In 2009 Diplo teamed with Switch under the guise of "Major Lazer" to release the futuristic dancehall album "Guns Don't Kill People... Lazers Do." More recently, he teamed up with Afrojack to produce Chris Brown's megahit "Look at me Now."
